The Siberian tiger's thick winter coat protects it from temperatures as cold as -50 degrees F. In Alabama's hot climate, staying cool is important, too. To help beat the heat, this exhibit features areas of shade and a pool for swimming. Unlike most cats, tigers love the water and are strong swimmers.
